Revenue Sources Policy

Universal Journal is committed to transparency regarding the financial support and revenue sources used to sustain its publishing activities. The Journal ensures that all revenue sources are managed in a manner that preserves editorial independence and publication integrity.

1. Purpose

This policy explains the sources of financial support for the Journal and confirms that editorial decisions are independent of financial considerations.


2. Revenue Sources

The Journal may receive financial support from one or more of the following sources:

  • Institutional support.
  • Publisher support.
  • Research grants.
  • Donations.
  • Article Processing Charges (APC), where applicable.
  • Sponsorship of academic activities.
  • Educational or publishing services.

3. Editorial Independence

Revenue sources shall not influence editorial decisions, peer review, manuscript acceptance, or publication outcomes.

Editors make decisions solely on the basis of academic quality, originality, scientific merit, and relevance to the Journal's scope.


4. Transparency

Any applicable publication fees, sponsorship arrangements, or financial support will be disclosed on the Journal website.


5. Sponsorship

Where sponsorship is accepted, sponsors shall have no influence over editorial policies, peer review, or publication decisions.


6. Conflict of Interest

Revenue generation activities shall not create conflicts of interest that could compromise editorial independence or research integrity.


7. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure compliance with international standards of scholarly publishing.
