Universal Journal is committed to maintaining fairness, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of scholarly publishing. Authors, reviewers, editors, and readers have the right to submit complaints or appeals concerning editorial decisions or publication practices.

This policy establishes procedures for handling complaints and appeals in a fair, timely, confidential, and transparent manner.
This policy applies to complaints or appeals relating to:
Authors may appeal editorial decisions if they believe a decision was based on factual error, misunderstanding, or procedural irregularity.
The appeal must:
Complaints should be submitted to the Editorial Office. Each complaint will be acknowledged and investigated objectively.
The journal aims to respond within 30 working days whenever possible.
The Editor-in-Chief or designated editorial representative will review all complaints impartially. Additional experts or members of the Editorial Board may be consulted if necessary.
All complaints and appeals will be handled confidentially. Information will only be disclosed to individuals directly involved in the investigation.
Following investigation, the journal will communicate its final decision in writing. Decisions made after a complete investigation are considered final.
Individuals submitting complaints or appeals in good faith will not be subject to retaliation or discrimination.
Universal Journal follows internationally recognized publishing ethics, including the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
